I have a love-hate relationship with MAC lipglasses. I love some of the colours – I hate the stickiness and thick texture. A Twitter conversation with @RemaGouyez the other day did remind me I had a gem of a lipglass in my collection: MAC”s Lychee Luxe.
It’s peachy pink, almost watermelon-like with golden shimmers. I bought it a couple of years ago thanks to a recommendation by Karen of Makeup and Beauty blog. I don’t reach for it as often as I like because of the texture but maybe I’ll get over it.
What I love about it is its versatility. You can wear it with both intense/smokey eye makeup or understated “I’m going to run errands” looks. Since purchasing it, I’ve written about how Lychee Luxe also looks great worn underneath lipsticks or lip liners. It’s simply beautiful.
So yes, I do hate how my hair sticks to my lips when I wear lipglasses but heck, at least my lips look luscious right?
