Formal Holiday Attire from PromGirl.netIt's that wonderful time of the year when many of us look into our wardrobes and wonder what on earth we are going to wear. There are holiday parties, work functions, friend parties and family gatherings, each with their own formalities.

What do you prefer to wear? A cocktail dress perhaps?

Do you prefer to wear short dresses or formal dresses, red dresses, black dresses or something a bit different?

For me, if I am going to wear a dress, I much prefer to wear a formal, long dress. I love black dresses, but I also love the looks of a nice, stunning red one too!

I'm very lucky this year because if I do have to wear a dress, I've got the short dress that I wore to my sister's wedding that also happens to be black which is absolutely perfect for me. Although short isn't usually my preference, this little black dress works for me!

I have been introduced to a new website that sells Prom Dresses, but they have such a HUGE selection and most of the dresses would work for any formal or semi-formal occasion. They sell dresses, accessories and even shoes! It's one stop shopping at this wonderful website.

I love how PromGirl.net is organized. You can search for dresses by event (Prom, Cocktail, Formal, Graduation, Holidays, Party and more), by style (strapless, short, long, one shoulder, halter, A-line, ball gowns and more), by colour, by designer and by price.

I also like how when you mouse over a dress, it automatically enlarges without you have to click over to a new page - this allows for fast viewing and moving on. No time is wasted having to open a page to view a larger picture, only to find that you really don't like it and you have to go back to the beginning to find out where you were in your search.

I remember when I was searching for a Prom Dress, I dragged my Mom all across the planet in search of the perfect dress. I remember doing the same thing for my graduation dress and many other formal and semi-formal events. Why spend SO much time going from store to store when you can see the dresses right before your eyes on a website?! It is convenient and much less time consuming, allowing you to focus your time and energy on other things.

Now a days, being a Mom to young children, I simply don't have the time anymore to go on a planet wide search for the perfect dress when one is required for an event. I absolutely love the ability and the convenience of choosing a dress online and having it delivered right to my door step. If I had free time, I would much rather spend it going out to coffee with a friend and then heading home to buy my dress online.
