Get to Know Your Child by Shana Connell Noyes Book Review

Book Review: Get to Know Your Child by Shana Connell Noyes

Do any of you feel like you don't know your child as well as you should? Maybe you have a difficult time getting answers to your question. Many parents struggle with finding the best way to truly communicate with their children.

Shana Connell Noyes has written a book called Get to Know Your Kid. It is a wonderful tool to use in order to truly grow to know and understand your child.

This book can be personalized for your child by writing their name in the provided space on the front cover. I like this because that added touch makes this book a true personal memento to keep for years to come.

Inside the book, each page has a specific question to ask your child, followed by a page full of lines for you to write down their answer. Your child could help you write down the answer or you can record the answers later. It would be very interesting to ask your child these questions when they are young (grades 1-8) and then again in high school or even older.

The questions asked in the book are often unique and are aimed to be open ended questions in order for your child to explore themselves and to provide you with more detailed answers than you may be used to.

I truly believe this book is an excellent gift idea for any child or parent.

This time of year is the perfect time to connect better or to reconnect with your child, to show them that you really care! This book can help you do that.
